Sharjah Planetarium

Do you have a little one who would like to become an Astronaut? Who loves all things about planets then you have to pay Sharjah Planetarium a visit

Knight D took 2 rounds of the exhibits we spent around 2 hours there. As you enter the entry gates you will notice a green park filled with planets each having its own orbit around the building that has a dome depicting the Sun.

Entry Fees: Children under 4 years: Free Children (4 years – 12 years): 21 AED Adults (13 years and above): 22 AED

Additional Information:

Parking is available inside with ease.

No cafeteria

Toilet available

Shows temporarily unavailable

What to expect?

As you enter you learn about stars, big bang theory and how planets form. These are silent videos to watch with a sign giving a brief explanation about the exhibit.

Most of the exhibits are interactive allowing kids to press buttons, move objects and so on. The key is to read the exhibit to understand what your supposed to do, its learning and then play with exhibit to fully understand the concept. This works with older kids not tiny hands.

We took 2 hours here and it still wasn't enough! Its a fun way for kids to learn about planets, gravity, mirrors, light properties, eclipse, a out of space mock up, and so much more.

I do hope you enjoy your visit and do drop us a comment if they were any additions or closures.
