Tooth Fairy vs Tooth dragon

tooth fairy vs tooth dragon
Tooth dragon with collectable card, pin and letter

My 5 yr old has 4 shaky teeth you know what means. Its time to get tooth fairy’s letter and coin ready. My son absolutely loves dinosaurs and has gained a new love towards dragons and pokemon.

Decided to do something different and start a new ritual. With the current covid19 I went through my craft closet to check my resources to see what I could create. Spent sometime online and eureka the idea fell in my lap…. dragons from Pokemon!

I used some spare shrinky dink film I had lying around ,drew Dragonite, coloured with Sharpies, hot glued a pin added a hand written note and it was done …wohooo!

After getting some more time in hand I created little cards for each dragon containing a little information about its powers and features. The idea is to collect each badge and information card for each tooth lost. Making it candy and cash free …winner!

For those who don’t have shrinks dinks at home a regular laminator or easy laminating film as featured below can be used. It’s literally print, cut, peel and stick.

Step 1: Download printable and laminate

Step 2: Cut your laminated image and tape a safety pin

I added the dragon information card for his second tooth and he was absolutely thrilled. He read about its powers and now has started a little album to hold all his Tooth dragon fairy notes and information cards.
